With 'Events', you can create events that will be displayed on the website. Both members and external parties can register for the event through the website. You can keep it simple, so you know approximately how many people will attend. You can also choose to sell tickets for your event. You can create different ticket types, with different prices for different target groups. Participants can buy multiple tickets and, if you have configured this, can attend the event with a QR code.
Events are included in every Congressus package. From the Plus package onwards, invoices are also generated, and tickets can be paid for via iDeal or direct debit.
Overview of events
Go to Events on the left in the main menu. You'll then see the following overview
:
At the top of the overview you will find various criteria to filter events. In the overview you can find the number of participants, the categories and the start and end dates. From the overview you can also edit the events by clicking on the name or the 'view' button.

Tickets for events
Want to have participants register and pay for your event? Tickets let you control exactly who and when they can register. This article explains everything about event registration and ticketing.
Sign up vs. Ticketing
You can now also specify which registration type you want to use for events. Read more about tickets in this article , and you can read more about registration here . Congressus distinguishes between two different types:
Registration - Members and any external parties can register once and choose their ticket. This is most similar to how registration has always worked in Congressus.
Ticketing - Members and any external parties can purchase one or more tickets. You can order more than one ticket at a time. This is useful for events like galas and parties. If you want to allow members to bring guests, you should also select "ticketing."
QR tickets for your event
Congressus also supports QR tickets for events. Participants who have registered or purchased a ticket can now use QR codes. These QR tickets can be scanned at the event entrance, allowing you to automatically track which members and how many attended. This is useful if you want to invoice later based on attendance. You can read all about QR tickets in this article .
Rental for events
If you use the "Rental" feature, you can also rent out items per event. This article explains everything about renting items for events.
