Rental - Add and manage items

Indicate which items your association has available for rental.

Add rental item

You can add rental items yourself and organize them into categories.

  • Go to Congressus Manager and click on 'Rental'

  • Click on the 'Rental Items' tab

  • Click on 'Add rental item' at the top right

  • Please fill in the requested information

  • Click on 'Add rental item'

Simultaneous rental

You can set how often the item can be rented simultaneously. This is relevant for, for example, car seats (5 seats = 5 simultaneous rentals). This allows 5 members to indicate they are using a seat. This is especially relevant when the car is made available to event participants.

Edit rental item

  • Go to 'Rental'

  • Click on the 'Rental Items' tab

  • Click on the name of the article or on 'edit'

  • Adjust the data

  • Click 'Save Changes'

Make rental item unavailable

Not all items will always be available. Consider maintenance items, for example, or sailboats that are not available for rental in the winter.

You can add periods of unavailability for each item. During these periods, the item is not available for rent.

  • Edit the rental item

  • Click on the 'Maintenance' tab

  • Enter a start and end time

  • Please provide a reason if necessary

  • Click on 'Add period of unavailability'
