Sending a push notification from Congressus Manager

Sending a push notification is a quick and easy way to reach your members. You can send messages to individual members, specific groups or participants of an event, or simply to all members (who use the app).

You can send a push notification via the Member administration tab in Congressus Manager. This works similarly to sending a mailing or SMS.

To do this, select a ‘set of members’ on a ‘Selection’ > and then use the same Selection button to select ‘Send push notification to selection’.

This allows you to send a separate push messages to a specific group. For example to a group of members who have registered for an event.

Please note that Congressus Manager can only send push notifications to members who have access to the app. So you can send a push notification to all your members, but only those who have installed the app (and also allowed push notifications) will actually receive it.

Sending a push message from the Socie management dashboard

In the Socie management dashboard, you can create a new push message in the left-hand menu under Notifications.

SCOPE:

  • Push messages are not leading but secondary.

  • There are conditions for whether a push message will actually arrive.

  • You send them via the Member list to a group or a filter or a “Selection.”
