The Congressus App - Introduction

To avoid reinventing the wheel, we started a collaboration with Socie. We connected the Congressus membership administration with the Socie app, and it works really well!

Once you have created your app in the Congressus Manager, the chosen administrator will have access to the Socie platform. That is where you can configure (almost) everything about your app.

In three steps, with three accompanying articles, we have explain how to set up the app to suit your association's needs, but before we go any further, let's first talk about what you can do with the Congressus App.

The Socie app has more than 20 interesting modules for your members. As an app administrator, you can add these modules to the app. See https://socie.eu/features/ for information about all the modules in the app.

What we really like about the app are the (Interactive) Groups. You can synchronize existing groups from Congressus with the app. You can also create new groups in Congressus and synchronize them with the app (we will explain this in detail later).

Your members in such a group can then communicate with each other, plan events/outings, send photos/videos, etc.! You, as the app administrator, can set all this up.

We have also automatically linked news, blogs, and photos to the Congressus App. Members can view these directly from the app.

There are three different packages available for the Congressus App:

Start - this package offers the basic functionality of the app

Plus - this package offers all Socie modules, including Interactive Groups

Premium - with this package, you get your own app in the App Store, with your own app icon

The cost of the app depends on the package you choose and the number of members you synchronize with the app.
