Collect your membership fees, send invoices and allow members to pay by invoice, iDeal, or direct debit. It's easy to do in Congressus.

Congressus makes it easy to manage your association's finances. You can easily collect membership fees on a regular basis, sell items in your webshop, and create and send invoices. Your members can use multiple payment options such as direct debit, iDeal, and of course they can also pay by invoice via bank transfer.

This article provides an overview of the possibilities offered by Congressus' financial functionality and refers you to other knowledge base articles that explain the specific possibilities in detail.

Invoice Workflows

Invoice workflows allow you to set up the process for sending your invoices. You can set the payment terms, the text to be included in the emails, the payment method, and the invoice due date.

You can create a new invoice workflow and manage and edit existing invoice workflows in ‘Settings’ > ‘Invoice workflows’.

Tip: make invoice workflows as general as possible so that you don't have to constantly create new ones. It is also useful to create a standard invoice workflow for things like membership fees.

Create and send invoices

With Congressus, you can easily and clearly send invoices to your members, as well as to external parties, groups, and organizations. Via ‘Invoices’ on the left side of the menu, you will find an overview of all invoices sent, the amounts, and the status of the invoice. You can also create and send new invoices from here.

Collecting membership fees

You can collect membership fees from all your members in bulk at any time. You can allow your members to pay using various payment methods, such as bank transfer, iDeal, or direct debit.

Webshop

With Congressus' webshop functionality, you can easily sell all kinds of different products to your members. Congressus automatically generates an invoice for this and makes it easy for your members to pay. You can manage all your orders and products clearly via Congressus Manager. You can also view the shipping status and payment status of orders here.
