Events - Participation Certificates

Automatically issue certificates of participation and (accreditation) points for a course.

Does your association organize courses or conferences? With Congressus, you can automatically generate certificates of participation, which also register any earned accreditation points.

Certificates of participation can only be used if the registration type for this event is set to 'Register'.

Setting up certificates of participation.

To use certificates of participation, you have to use the sign up type "sign up". After selecting that, navigate to the 'Certificates of participation' tab in the event and check the 'Certificate of participation activated' box.

You will then see several settings.

  • Certificate - Give the certificate a name.

  • Points - If your association or organization uses (accreditation) points, you can enter the number of points earned for participation here. If you don't use this option, you can leave the field blank.

  • Points are accredited - You can select this option if the points are accredited.

After the event, you can send proofs of attendance to all members who attended. You can do this by going to the "Proofs of Attendance" tab and clicking "Send Proofs." This button will only appear if any participants have the "Attendance" status. Only members who attended the event will then receive their proof of attendance by email. Members can also download their proof of attendance from their profile on the website.
